Delta Amacuro is located in northeastern Venezuela where the great Orinoco River flows into the Atlantic Ocean, is a jungle Eden and a labyrinth of rivers. Its capital is Tucupita and its largest indigenous population is the Waraos, or People of Water in their dialect.

It is one of the places on Earth with the greatest biodiversity, where you can observe all kinds of plants and animals such as ferns, bromeliads, orchids, water lilies, macaws, toucans, herons, eagles, boas, turtles, iguanas, alligators and otters, this is because at the mouth of the Orinoco River there are approximately 50 rivers and 70 streams.
