“ALL CURIOUS TRAVELERS KEEP GRANADA IN THEIR HEARTS, EVEN WITHOUT HAVING VISITED IT.”

William Shakespeare

Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, and its multi cultural, architectural and historical legacy makes this city a must-visit destination in both Spain and Europe.

The Alhambra, an Arab citadel and palace, is the most renowned building of the Islamic Historical Legacy, and part of the many cultural attractions you can find there. Granada’s Almohad architectural influence, preserved in the neighborhood of Albaicín (Granada’s Arab quarter), is another exceptional example of Moorish construction and is also part of Granada’s UNESCO site.

Granada´s Cathedral was built on top of Granada’s mosque at the start of the 16th century, and next to the Cathedral is the Royal Chapel, resting place of two of Spain’s most famous rulers: The Catholic Monarchs, Isabella I and Ferdinand II, whose beautiful alabaster tomb was designed by the Italian sculptor Domenico Fancelli.
